International Education Week 2023!

Office of International Education & Study Abroad invites you to celebrate International Education Week, Nov. 13-17, 2023.

We have various activities throughout this week to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange on campus.

International Education Week is joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and is to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Language Cafe

Learn simple greetings in Amharic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Japanese at the Language Cafe. 1:30pm to 2:30pm, Nov. 13, Bldg. 10 Upper Lounge.

Career Coaching for Students with International & Multicultural Backgrounds

Join us for a Career Coaching session by a TEDx Talk Speaker, Celina Lee. This workshop is to motivate students to harness their unique cultural experiences, and to turn what they think is their disadvantage into their greatest strength. 2pm to 3pm, Nov. 14, Bldg. 4, Rm 125.

International Cafe by International Club

Come join International Cafe by International Club! There will be cultural trivia and you can win a prize! 2pm to 3p.m., Nov. 15, Bldg 10, Rm 117

Traditional Matcha Green Tea Ceremony

Join us for a traditional Japanese Matcha Green Tea Ceremony in International Student Lounge! You will learn how to make the tea traditional way and taste it! 1pm to 2pm, Nov. 16, Bldg 10, Rm 117
